My one friend who went off Paxil with doc's supervision had withdrawal
symptoms for about 9 months. Apparently, one of the things that makes paxil
withdrawal a real bitch is that even when you think you're in the clear, the
symptoms can all come raging back. On a positive note, he had to quit
alcohol and caffeine and exercise like a fiend to manage the withdrawal, and
he's lost 70 lbs and hasn't looked or felt better in something like 10
years.

I agree with Ben - you really should be having some doc supervision with
this - even if it's only at a free clinic somewhere or something.
