I don't think that the economic impact of illegal's is as great as you would
believe. Illegal's often make sustenance wages. They aren't purchasing
luxury or big ticket items. They suck money out of medical facilities, and
they cause higher insurance rates, medical and things like auto insurance,
which many if not most illegal's do not have.

You are also missing the cultural impact. Like what I had said about the
flags yesterday. No self respecting American would ever put a flag in the
fucking trash Gruss. Even those against the wars know people serving or
that have served, and wouldn't want to disgrace the losses we have suffered
over the past couple of hundred years.

You are also missing the criminality aspect. When you know that simply by
being in this country you are breaking the law, it becomes far easier for
you to then break other laws. Look at MS 13, it wouldn't have a tenth of
the power it does in this country if not for illegal immigration. Look at
DMV records, and look how that raises the cost of insurance, and the
negative numbers about DUI and hit and runs. Look at drug smuggling, gun
running, La Raza, the brown power movement.

Gruss, these people don't want to become Americans. They just want the
benefits. No more no less.

All this without even touching on the problems we have with Russian illegal
immigration, Asian slave trafficking, I mean it goes on and on.

Hmmm ... this is an interesting argument, I'll write out both sides:

(1.) By employing people, at any level, you're creating wealth and that's
always a good thing especially with poor 3rd world countries.

This argument would say that bringing as many people into America as can
find work develops both the American economy (and therefore
wealth) as well as the 3rd world. For example, you might be able to find a
nanny at a price you can afford which enable you to work more at your higher
paying job.

Further, as the class of hard-working but low paid workers grows, a new
goods and services market will flourish supporting their needs.
You already can see this market in many communities. Those businesses will
need good and supplies and so on and so on.

We'd be foolish to turn away those possible citizens that want to work!

(2.) By turning away workers, our country's goods will be priced out of the
global market thus driving an innovation in technology to lower the cost of
our goods. This could start a productivity boom that would zing around the
world as market agents scramble to acquire the new technology.

I'm still partial to (1).
