Huh.  Well, if true, it sure seems to make sense.

So how about this "the media only reports the bad stuff" argument?  To
me it's crap because it comes down to expectations.

For example, let's say I buy a new car.  Do I come home every day and
say, "guess what honey? The car didn't break down today!"  No, because
it's expected to do it's job: get me from a to b.  Now let's say it
does break down, and I complain.  Does the dealership have the right
to say, "you're just not reporting all of the times it worked for
you!"

The expected amount of causalities in Iraq is zero, and it's not.  And
the media should be reporting that.
