Huh. Well, if true, it sure seems to make sense. So how about this "the media only reports the bad stuff" argument? To me it's crap because it comes down to expectations. For example, let's say I buy a new car. Do I come home every day and say, "guess what honey? The car didn't break down today!" No, because it's expected to do it's job: get me from a to b. Now let's say it does break down, and I complain. Does the dealership have the right to say, "you're just not reporting all of the times it worked for you!" The expected amount of causalities in Iraq is zero, and it's not. And the media should be reporting that. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~| Message: http://www.houseoffusion.com/lists.cfm/link=i:5:204365 Archives: http://www.houseoffusion.com/cf_lists/threads.cfm/5 Subscription: http://www.houseoffusion.com/lists.cfm/link=s:5 Unsubscribe: http://www.houseoffusion.com/cf_lists/unsubscribe.cfm?user=11502.10531.5 Donations & Support: http://www.houseoffusion.com/tiny.cfm/54
