Good question, and not one anyone here is qualified to answer.

I suspect maintenance costs would go up while the cost of the car
would be spread over more time.  The batteries may decrease in
performance, other factors may come into play.  I have no idea if this
would increase or decrease the total cost of ownership over the entire
time period, but I seriously doubt it would bring the break even point
significantly lower.
