Unless you're one of them 2 finger typists, in which case I just feel bad for you. :-) I think this is a big factor. Young people, with little to no exposure to typing, pick up on texting and messaging. Without the typing skills but being young and adaptable, they create the short cuts and become very adapt at them. Then they start using these expressions outside of the community for which they are meant and accepted; thus showing a lack of communication skills such as understanding the audience of ones messages. Again being young and arrogant as well as not learning the requisite skills plays in why this happens. Do many schools even teach typing anymore? ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~| Message: http://www.houseoffusion.com/lists.cfm/link=i:5:206963 Archives: http://www.houseoffusion.com/cf_lists/threads.cfm/5 Subscription: http://www.houseoffusion.com/lists.cfm/link=s:5 Unsubscribe: http://www.houseoffusion.com/cf_lists/unsubscribe.cfm?user=11502.10531.5 Donations & Support: http://www.houseoffusion.com/tiny.cfm/54
