I won't argue about the 3rd party stuff not working right, but what
percentage of that is caused by the underlying architecture?
Seriously, if windows had been designed from the start as a multi-user
setup with proper sandboxing, how much of this could have been
avoided?

Also, I've seen that MS has some of the most extensive documentation
available.  The MSDN is huge, but why do they have to change it so
freakin often.  How many types of data access stuff have they
released, dao, ado, ado.net, ado.netv2, oledb, odbc, mdac,etc.)  That
kind of thing is going to make it harder on developers to create
stable software too.
