why? in my eyes i shows a lack of design talent it shows a lack of initiative. if a client asks me for a simple design, i give them a ferrari. there is nothing simple or boring that will get me the dollars i need. WOW them, why not? my first impression was college kid for a class project. kinda like what c.hat.hump asks us to critique.
