I was mediocre boy. I was in sports but was also a major "Band Geek." I
even played tuba! The jock-type "cool" kids thought I was alright and
the smart "geeky" kids thought I was alright. I think that I would be
classified more of a class clown than geek or jock and everyone digs the
class clown. That got me into some trouble though. I got suspended for
wearing a skirt to school because boys were not allowed to wear shorts
but girls could wear mini-skirts to school (not that we minded ;-)). So
in protest, about 12 of us wore skirts. I got in a little of extra hot
water because I unrolled one of those long Ekcrich polish sausages out
the bottom. It was a rather surreal experience to get suspended while
having the dean in tears from laughing so hard. I was a pretty sizable
fellow in high school (6'0" and 190lbs.) so no one really messed with
me.

Good times....

I was always a geek, but at the same time I was one of the biggest
guys in
school. I had the crappy glasses, the bad hair cut, the stupid looking
clothes.

In my high school, the special ed kids were all on the 3rd floor, or
they
went to a different school altogether, one more capable of dealing
with
  them on a one-to-one basis.
