Um, the last time I played dodge ball the rules were:
1. if the ball is caught from the person throwing the ball, the person
throwing the ball was out.
2. if the person dodging the ball got hit, they were out.
3. if the person throwing the ball pegged the dodger in the head, the
person throwing the ball got an extra 10 points :-)

The rules may have changed though since I played.
