Of course, I like disaster movies too, and they *NEVER* have good 
acting.  "The Day After Tomorrow" for example, was wholly unrealistic 
and the plat had more holes than a chunk of alpine lace swiss cheese.  I 
mean c'mon, how does a freakin' SHIP find it's way down the streets of 
new york?

But I still liked it because the effects were cool.  And the disaster 
actually occurred.  If they avoid the disaster, I get annoyed.  One of 
Armageddon or Deep Impact actually avoided the disaster - I can't 
remember which, but I felt ripped off.
