I was hired on as tech support for some PowerBuilder app at this small company. It turns out they wanted to convert the PowerBuilder thing to a web-based app. I knew about databases and had messed with web stuff for a few years before that, so one day the boss plopped version 4.0 on my desk and said "Learn this." I said "... ok!". It was an interesting time. Best bit of luck I ever had.
The first time I got CF to connect to a database and spit something out on the screen, and all of the possibilities hit me at once, well, I thought that was the coolest thing I had ever seen in my life. I've been having fun ever since :) ----- Original Message ----- From: "Ray Champagne" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: "CF-Community" <cf-community@houseoffusion.com> Sent: Tuesday, November 28, 2006 12:53 PM Subject: RE: Developer, CF.
