I was hired as a web developer for a company that had no web presence. I had no budget, so I started with PHP. I talked the company into buying Generator. Shortly thereafter Macromedia stopped offering Generator and gave us a fully licensed version of CF. I was hooked after my first <cfquery>. Ported over the PHP app in a matter of weeks.
