Interesting post in the Inquirer about AMD dual CPU architecture (QuadFX):

Basically, if you want a gaming machine for single-threaded apps, you go
Intel. If you want a workstation (e.g. for software development) you go AMD.
But this really only matters in the quad core space, so I need to wait just
a little to get the price point down.
