We all played "army" and regularly "shot" each other with guns (especially cap guns) yet we didn't grow up to be gun-crazed lunatics.
Do kids born after 1986 even know what a cap gun is? How about sling-shots? We loved target practice with the wrist-rocket sling shot- lining up beer cans we found behind the Sunny's Surplus (another gem of the past) and knocking them over with rocks. Too bad if a window got broken or someone inadvertently got a rock in the stomach, those things happen. Are sling shots even legal anymore? On 1/2/07, Erika L.
