This is all so true. I have fond and vivid memories of me, my brothers and my friends all hooking wagons to the backs of our bikes and riding to Mt. Baldy (Southern Cali). It was a good 20 miles or so but we did not care. We started out in the morning, and before dark we were in the woods camping and having the time of our lives. I also remember my mom dropping me and my brothers off in the woods and picking us up a few days later at a pre-determined spot. Not anymore.
