Just to be clear Beth,

And you aren't saying anything I haven't thought of.

I'm not trying to have him arrested for trying to make an ebay purchase.

I am considering filing a wire fraud complaint with the US Attorney's office
for stealing my ebay account (identity theft) and for attempting to purchase
something fraudulently through that account once he took it over. (Wire
Fraud). All I can do is turn it over to the US Attorney's office. What they
decide to do with it (and him) then is out of my hands.

I had hoped that after the threats he had finished up. Unfortunately, I was
wrong. He sent a posting of something I had posted here to my sister (who
promptly forwarded it to me). He did the ebay thing. He is clearly
obsessive and isn't backing off. He has had private detectives on me AFTER I
moved to DC (for what reason I don't know). Through these private detectives
he managed to access my emails (which he read to me over the phone), find
out about parties I have attended and generally snoop into my life). This
has left me pretty shaken and feeling very vulnerable as well.

I worry about if I get the restraining order if that will simply set him off
even more. However, I can't just sit back and do nothing. The ebay
situation was the absolute last straw. I don't want anything from him but
to be left alone, but if he fucks with me, I will take action to make it
stop.

Actually, i have some sympathy for Sandy's ex-- I am not justifying his
actions - clearly he is behaving like a freak, but I suspect its that
he isn't mentally all there right now. Remember his wife just left him
(for another man no less), and I would assume she didn't leave him
because he is a wonderful, happy person to be with - perhaps he was
already depressed, perhaps its a drinking problem - either of those
situations might cause someone to behave in an inappropriate manner.

BEFORE you flame me for this message- I do not condone his actions. At
all. I am glad Sandy filed a restraining order, but I am hoping that
he has 'shot his wad' so to speak and will leave her alone. I think
that attempting to have him arrested for trying to make an ebay
purchase may a) make him more unstable (and i don't think its because
he is a jerk, i really think he is unstable and b) may cause him to be
more abusive to Sandy.
