As for the "lock up our jobs" argument, it's a formula for how to ruin our leadership in the world - basically a formula for making America suck enough that we'll all be leaving. As a country we should be encouraging the best, brightest, and hardest working to come to our country to prosper in as many numbers as possible. There's a lot of smart people out there, and lot of motivated people, so that's going to mean that we'll all have to work really hard to keep our jobs. And that's what would make us great. The right immigration policy is one that allows business to advertise a job for 1 month and, given no suitable candidates, opens the door to the world. An applicant should have a 5 year green card path and a 15 year citizenship path. Essentially immigration should only be limited by the number of open jobs and university spots. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~| ColdFusion MX7 and Flex 2 Build sales & marketing dashboard RIAâs for your business.
