This whole issue is turning into a catch-22. We have 12 million illegals in
the country. The logistics and cost of rounding all of them up and deporting
them is staggering and really, really impractical.

The proposed fence is a boondoggle, Penn and Teller's Bullshit got a copy of
the plans and built a section, then they asked a team of folks to get
through it or over it, they did in seconds.

My thoughts are....

1) Patrol the fence electronically, and by satellite.
2) create Border Patrol rapid response teams, equip them with quasi military
hardware and transportation and place them at intervals along the border.
3) any illegals that are caught are rapidly processed, (I'd microchip 'em to
set off the electronics), fingerprinted, photographed and sent back across
the border, with the understanding that if they come back illegally they
will be imprisoned.

If you're an illegal from Mexico or Central America, don't be mad at the US.
Be mad at Spain, if they'd never invaded, the US would probably extend to
Panama and you'd all be American citizens and we'd have a much smaller
southern border to worry about

As long as PAN and PRI represent the government, no. Most of what we send
there will disappear in graft.
