A gift? I don't think so. As for the multiple versions, can you run
multiple versions of Safari on a Mac? When Safari 2.0 came out you
couldn't even run it on anything before 10.2 or 10.3 so the new features
in a freaking web browser had to be paid for.

As for allow PC developers to test with, who cares. Nobody uses it. Even
the Mac people I know hate safari and use Firefox.

The reason I'll bitch about it because one guy is going to be a jackass
and complain that some site doesn't work in Safari for the PC and wants
it fixed. To which I'll gladly say no.

Safari currently has about 1.5% market share, just below Opera.
