I've been using the SQL Server Management Studio (used express for awhile too) and they both talked to 2000, as well as the new version.
I heard someone saying you can even get to DTS somewhere in Management Studio... (if you're more familiar with it...) I think it was on cf-talk, as to how. Think the standard answer is to buy the $50-$70 dollar dev version, vs. express, but express was working fine for me. And it's "free". just some cents... On 6/20/07, Erika L.
