This whole section misses the point of environmentalism ENTIRELY. It's not about saving money, it's about protecting our future. We're going to run out of oil in this world sooner than later, Our reliance on foreign oil is a serious problem. Using vehicles that don't use nearly as much gasoline is a GOOD THING. I myself haven't gone to the hybrid yet... I was driving an F-150 every day, but 2 years ago I leased a Mazda3 and I drive that every day now ... went from 16mpg to 28mpg. I feel good about that, from a cost savings perspective *AND* because it means I'm LESS reliant on foreign oil than the person driving the hummer. I wish this area had a better public transportation system - I wouldn't mind riding the bus... but our transit system here in raleigh/durham sucks if you're trying to get from city to city. Too spread out. Rick ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~| Upgrade to Adobe ColdFusion MX7 The most significant release in over 10 years.
