Anybody been following the west coast dog mauling trial? Trial was moved to L.A. but fatal assault occurred in S.F. Woman was killed in her apartment building hallway by two huge Presa Canario dogs "owned" by lawyer couple who were her neighbors. Stories about dogs bred by/for prison white supremacist group, wierd relationship between lady lawyer and prison inmate (supposedly since she couldn't marry him she adopted him ?!?).
Latest report making bile rise in my throat - defense lawyer questioning victim's domestic partner about her claim that dog had bitten victim on hand previously. Defense attorney asked if victim might still be alive had they reported the earlier attack to officials. First the woman with the dogs tried to blame the victim for somehow instigating the attack. Then they criticize the police for not responding fast enough with first aid (in spite of the fact that the dog owner did *not* call 911). Now they are trying to blame the victim's domestic partner for not reporting the neighbors harboring dangerous animals?
