Another wierd-but-true case from California: Guy worked for gal at biotech firm. Gal fired guy last year, apparently for violation of internal company rules.
Guy called Domino's, ordered a pizza sent to the former boss' house. She opens the door to tell the delivery guy "I didn't order a pizza". The perp un-lurked, shoved the Domino's guy aside, and pumped several bullets into the former boss, right in front of the astonished pizza guy and victim's teenage son. Then he fled. About an hour later, the perp phoned his wife, told her what he had done, then shot himself. Very sad (but at least we're spared a trial...).
