Now THAT makes sense.

However since it's left to the prosecutor's judgment on who to pursue
and to the Grand Jury on who to indict, you have to be comfortable
that the prosecutor is making the right decisions.  With a guy
appointed by Bush and judge appointed by Bush, I don't know how you
could stack the deck more in Libby's favor or more out of Plame's
favor.

Of course sometimes prosecutors make incredibly bad calls: Nifong.
But then he's been disbarred and will be civilly sued.

In this case, however, there are no charges of malicious prosecution
nor of dereliction of duty or political favoritism.

I would think that if the facts showed Fitzgerald to be truly
malicious or showing favorites SOMEBODY would try to nail him for it.
Since nobody has we can only assume that there's no case to do so.
