Sometimes I think Nintendo had me personally in mind when they made the Wii.
No pointless online game playing....I have ZERO interest in playing online. Doesn't thrill me. The games are simple and built around actual game play...not dependent upon superior graphics. The wii remotes are a blast. And as for "staying power"....two words sum it up for me: Virtual Console. Funny that all of your gripes are actually bonuses in my view. Wonder if Nintendo tapped a market of players just like me that, frankly, I didn't think existed.
