This is important - as I mentioned my wife's Grandmother was diagnosed over 6 years ago and, relatively speaking, she's doing fairly well. There's some doubt as to whether she actually has it given that 6 years in she's still pretty with it. In her case she relies heavily on her husband to, for example, decide what she'll have to drink or eat at a restaurant, and when they're coming or going from a certain event. But I could see how, speaking to her for the first time, someone might not even know she has it - or just might think she's a bit senile. So there's hope both from a diagnosis perspective, a treatment perspective, and there are various experimental treatments that sound *really* promising. In fact I had just read about one a few months ago that reversed the damage in mice. Also, if you're so inclined, there's likely a local or state Alzheimer's association that can be a great source of information and/or you can volunteer as a worker or board member. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~| Check out the new features and enhancements in the latest product release - download the "What's New PDF" now http://download.macromedia.com/pub/labs/coldfusion/cf8_beta_whatsnew_052907.pdf Archive: http://www.houseoffusion.com/groups/CF-Community/message.cfm/messageid:240083 Subscription: http://www.houseoffusion.com/groups/CF-Community/subscribe.cfm Unsubscribe: http://www.houseoffusion.com/cf_lists/unsubscribe.cfm?user=11502.10531.5
