I had a buddy try to go pro. Like auto racing, every tournament has an entry fee. Often, for a good player, the sponsor(s) will pay the entry fees. Also, some tournaments do not have such fees, but those are usually inviatation only events like the Master (not sure if the Masters has an entry fee myself).
