Same thing happens to me. So far in the last week I have had about four calls and several emails asking if I want to take a contract position in San Jose or Freemont. I tell them I am in SoCal and they say "well it is only for three or four months". I think, 'Oh, that's better. Let me move almost four hundred miles for a few months and see what happens when the contract expires. Meanwhile my $600.00 a month three bedroom two bath home sitting on 2 1/2 acres goes to someone else'.
Heh, no thanks. -----Original Message----- From: C. Hatton Humphrey Sent: Tuesday, September 11, 2007 12:20 PM To: CF-Community Subject: Re: Recruiters (was RE: Unbelievable!) Yeah, those exchanges get me all the time as well. I dare not post my listing locally because I know for a fact I'd get called by at least one local recruiting agency for it. That'd be a trick... hiring myself! Actually what I love is when the recruiters from NYC or NJ call me in Buffalo and don't know why I wouldn't want to move or commute! ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~| Get the answers you are looking for on the ColdFusion Labs Forum direct from active programmers and developers. http://www.adobe.com/cfusion/webforums/forum/categories.cfm?forumid-72&catid=648 Archive: http://www.houseoffusion.com/groups/CF-Community/message.cfm/messageid:242188 Subscription: http://www.houseoffusion.com/groups/CF-Community/subscribe.cfm Unsubscribe: http://www.houseoffusion.com/cf_lists/unsubscribe.cfm?user=11502.10531.5
