Forcing a group to accept any and everyone, and do any and everything
more or less neuters the principles of that group in the first place.
The BoyScouts would have to teach and be open to Creationism,
homosexuality, Satanism, racism (free speech) and many other things
that would go against the principles on which the organisation was
built.

Churches throughout the United States receive government
funding,grants, tax concessions etc, and they are not totally open to
everything either, far from it.
Therefore the stance that once tax payer's money comes into it the
organisation must lose itself doesn't seem to be true in the US.
