well yeah, consideing that the antibiotics aren't curing your flu and
are contributing to the spread of superbugs.

But to answer your actual point -- your doctor takes your call because
he has seen you before. He has seen you as a patient because you have
insurance. It honestly does not wok that way fo a lot of other people.
They deal with a clinic for people with no insuance, and the next
available appointment at that clinic is four months out. That's why
they go to the ER, you know. Not to annoy you personally. Really ;)
