Lotus Notes uses F9 to refresh the display rather than F5.

F5 locks the mail client. *That*, I think is the most egregious misuse
of a "standard" key.

Or perhaps Ctrl+R to refresh a query in SQL Server Enterprise Manager,
instead of F5...
