Folks are so polarized on this issue here in the US that it's impossible to have a reasoned debate about it. The US media just reinforces the insular mindset - you have to look further afield to see the bigger, more realistic picture. Sam's comment about not having seen / heard any of the anti-American sentiment from Iraqis is a prime example of this. You comment on terrorists being trained in Afghanistan - don't forget a lot of them were trained by Americans directly or, indirectly, by American money because it suited America to use Bin Laden and his guerrillas to help oust Russia from Afghanistan. That this came back to bite America ought to have be easily predictable (and many Europeans saw it coming), especially with Bush's foreign policy involving so much sword-rattling and so little actual politics. I will say no more on this topic. History will be the judge of Bush. -- Sean A Corfield -- (904) 302-SEAN An Architect's View -- http://corfield.org/ "If you're not annoying somebody, you're not really alive." -- Margaret Atwood ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~| Adobe® ColdFusion® 8 software 8 is the most important and dramatic release to date Get the Free Trial http://ad.doubleclick.net/clk;160198600;22374440;w Archive: http://www.houseoffusion.com/groups/CF-Community/message.cfm/messageid:249093 Subscription: http://www.houseoffusion.com/groups/CF-Community/subscribe.cfm Unsubscribe: http://www.houseoffusion.com/cf_lists/unsubscribe.cfm?user=11502.10531.5
