I can, of course, only speak for myself, but I don't drink alcohol at all; never have. Alcoholism is rampant in my family and it's just not worth it. Not to mention, all these years of sobriety and I really do wonder why anyone would ever drink to excess. They must not realise how plain stupid they look being "cool", I guess.
