Yeah, that would pretty much do it for me, too.  Congrats on being able to
avoid such problems.  Nothing at all wrong in abstaining for these reasons.

One way to make sure you don't abuse alcohol is to develop an uncompromising
palate for the really good stuff.  That way you can't afford to stay drunk.
Sort of a self-controlling mechanism.
