I should have clarified.  By "you don't" I meant "one doesn't," and by "you
can't" I meant "one can't."

I would highly recommend that people who have reached 40 without ever
touching alcohol just don't start.

I think you're smart for staying alcohol-free from this point onward in your
life.

I figure, after all this time of not drinking, why even bother trying to
