So you would rather not vote for someone who is going to honestly tell
you how he will get things done? You want someone who is vague in his
ideas? Obama talks about hope and change. Well, I hope I win the lottery
someday, but if I hope in one hand and shit in the other, I am pretty
sure which one will fill up first. And change. How exactly does he plan
to implement these changes he proposes? (exclude the Iraq war, we
already know how he, Clinton and Huckleberry will end the war, they will
surrender, and to me surrender is not an option). I seem to recall about
4 years ago, a guy named Kerry had a plan. No one really knew what this
plan was, but boy he was sure he had one. Obama sounds like Kerry to me,
only replace a plan with hope and change. Or maybe he is Hoping that he
can make Change? Well boy, sign me up. I am all for running my country
on a hope and a prayer. And speaking of contacts in high places, do you
think that the Clinton's don't have contacts in high places? (at least
the ones that are still alive). I am pretty sure that they do and they
will call on them to help get things done. I would bet money on that one.

And what is wrong with having people in the right place to help get
things done? Everyone does it, democrats and Republicans alike. I am
sure that in his short two years as a US senator Obama has made some
high powered contacts to, and he will use them. If you believe that he
does not have these contacts, then I would like to offer you some prime
beach-front property along the San Andreas fault line. Good price too.

Now don't get me wrong, I am all for change. Over the last couple of
years I have become disenfranchised with the entire bush regime and I
want change. I believe that McCain, although soft on some issues, will
be the man to get this country back together and get us in good standing
with the world again (notice how I don't say hope? That signifies that I
am confident that he can, not that I hope he can). Right now the
Republican party is very dysfunctional, but I think that has mostly to
do with Bush and his cronies, and once he is finished and McCain steps
in, he will do his best to bring the party back together.

Of course, this is only my opinion. Others may vary.
