Let's see... One of the main selling points for the Prius is the mpg. The
Prius has a real-time mpg display in the console. How convenient. Is there
any reason to believe that the mpg display in a Prius is more reliable than
the connection-strength indicator on the average cell phone?

Has anyone actually verified that the mpg display is correct? I know that
engineer types do this sort of thing.

....not knocking your new toy. I've ridden in a Prius and it's very nice.

The can go on the back window of my new Prius :)

51.8 mpg from the dealership to my house tonight, 45 miles in all. I
can't wipe the smile off my face tonight. :)
