We used to be not-like others.

Probably relates to how our country was formed, specifically.  We were
trying to fight that history circle, by never allowing the .gub to
become the monster that .gubs usually become.  Pretty much what we're
founded on.

Individual liberties and whatnot.  NOT groupthink.
