I usually don't care much, but this firmware - the major addition of which is full "BD Live" (interactive, online Blu-Ray) support - seems like it slipped in a nice boost to the media player.
It still doesn't play everything (mostly older stuff seems to bomb) but with this update the PS3 plays a huge number of DIVx/XVID videos that it failed to play with the release of the feature. We're one step closer to a truly best-of-breed networked player!
