Warranty: I had NBD or Next Business Day Corporate Service and Complete
Care.

For the new one, I'll keep the same service. Can't beat it.

It cost about $500 over the past 5 years to keep it under warranty. New
casings, keyboards, LCD screen, motherboards, etc over the past 5 years kept
the laptop almost new. Cost Dell quite a bit.

New D830 specced the way I have it, around $1500. Not too expensive
actually, but that's without tax, etc.

So it's almost a no-brainer to keep the same coverage for this go around. I
don't plan on buying a new laptop now for several years.
