How do you consider it theft? I know I am opening up the flame gates here
but I want to hear this out.

Beyond that why are some options to consider Open BlueDragon?

1) It is open source, sure that means free but it is more than that. How
many times have you faced a simple bug in ColdFusion and it took months
before Adobe fixed it? How many times have you seen posts about "This is how
ColdFusion works under the covers...probably" There is no question on how it
works with BlueDragon crack open the source and have a look.

2) Thanks to the open nature of OpenBD you can customize and extend it. Alan
will be talking about this more and I have posted on it but OpenBD allows
you to integrate at the Java level and extend the engine, think CFX only
much more powerful.

3) Innovate and community drive - Open BlueDragon will be 95% (i have to
assume not 100%) driven by the community if there are overwhelming feature
requests you can expect OpenBD to take it on, and most likely before a
commercial release of ColdFusion. Note I said community driven not community
developed. The development is still mainly from paid engineers by New
Atlanta.

4) Open BlueDragon is cool and hip and I think it might ship with muffins.
