I tend to agree... but in this case I can also clearly see the concern.  It
may be a small one, but this IS a government endorsement (and display of
favoritism) towards one religion.

For separation of church and state to mean anything the state simply cannot
play favorites.  ANY appearance of doing so should be avoided like the
plague.  That's what scares me more: we've got many people in positions of
governmental power that don't understand this simple and absolutely
fundamental aspect of our society.

In the small scale: who gives a shit what some holy-rollers stick on their
cars.  In the large scale: we've got fuckers running this country (or large
parts of it) that apparently have either never read the Constitution,
completely failed to understand it or just don't give a shit about it... any
of those options are shudder-inducing.
