Yes, your article doesn't mention it; but that doesn't mean it doesn't exist - it does - and Obama published it in an opinion piece to the NY Times titled "my plan for Iraq". In THAT piece he mentions a specific time table. Further you're not accurately discriminating between ambiguous terms. 2 people can say, "when the security situation permits" and mean TOTALLY different things because that's a subjective statement. To understand *objectively* what "when the security situation permits" means to each person, you must ask them to define explicitly what they're talking about. When both Obama and McCain are asked to *explicitly* state what they mean by "when the security situation permits" you seen a vast chasm between their positions. This is where Obama says "about 16 months" and McCain says when we achieve "victory" which he refuses to define. Therefore, objectively, McCain is not giving any indication of WHEN he would act and Obama is. Think of it this way: I owe you $5000. You ask me when I'm going to pay you back. McCain is saying: "when my liquidity position improves". Obama is saying: "In 2 weeks." I dunno about you, but I'd take the Obama answer over the McCain answer any day. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~| Adobe® ColdFusion® 8 software 8 is the most important and dramatic release to date Get the Free Trial http://ad.doubleclick.net/clk;203748912;27390454;j Archive: http://www.houseoffusion.com/groups/CF-Community/message.cfm/messageid:264339 Subscription: http://www.houseoffusion.com/groups/CF-Community/subscribe.cfm Unsubscribe: http://www.houseoffusion.com/cf_lists/unsubscribe.cfm?user=11502.10531.5
