Perhaps given how much the conservatives and the neo-cons have fecked up this country, perhaps its time that changed, and as usual the much reviled liberals will have to clean up the mess left by the conservatives.
It seems strange that given their propaganda about tax and spending liberal who'll break the bank,every time the conservatives get into power they plunge the country into massive debt and at the very least a recession. This goes all the way back into the late 19th century. On the other hand the so-called liberals have typically been the ones who have dug the country out of a deficit and the economic down turns. A couple of cases in point, Hoover vs. Roosevelt, Ronnie Raygun/Bush vs. Clinton. And typical to the conservatives who rattle on and on about welfare and socialism, but are not all that adverse to giving a lot more handouts to their supporters and the defense and resource industries. >Sticks and stones. > >Obama is the most liberal member of the Senate.
