Well, current theories include impact by a number of things, including...

1) Greehouse gases - warmer
2) Sunspots - warmer
2) Reflective surfaces (ice, clouds, particulate pollution) - cooler

Since the sunspot cycles are so short, I doubt they will have any impact on
long term climate change, but it might.
