So reading that definition, I don't agree that the daughter is a
public figure.  The only way she could be a public figure is as an
involuntary public figure, which is defined as a very rare
circumstance, and where she must have "become a central figure in a
significant public controversy".

So what is the public controversy? Whether a 17 year old should have a
baby? Not exactly front-page news. Whether a daughter should follow
her parents' advice? Nope. What is the controversy?
