Took Tibbles to the vet yesterday. Looked him over, cleaned out the wound, shaved around the wound, injected antibiotics, and sent us home with oral anti-biotics and flea treatments for all three cats. Have to cancel his castration on the 10th to give him more time to heal, then *snip-snip*.
Hot compresses three times a day, oral meds twice a day, play all day long. Absolutely fascinated by the spectre of my hand slowly burrowing toward him under the bed covers. Attacks like a cute fluffy little Rambo. General Patton would be proud. There is roasted chicken in his very near future.
