Yup.
Beyond all the normal hoo-hah something struck me about McCain: as
when he'd debate Romney ("my friends ...") he never looked at Obama,
he looked clenched, he was somewhat mean, he was contemptuous, and he
frequently belittled Obama.
What it reminded me of is McCain's "I hate gooks, I'll hate them all
my life". He seems to really need to hate you if he disagrees with
you.
He also made this other made this ridiculous point that if one soldier
dies anywhere we have to fight without end; that a soldier's death is
a waste if don't then "win". That's almost evil in its concept as
it's war without end.
As for Obama, I think his final line really sucked. As much as I
totally agree that most kids in the world probably don't look up to
America as maybe they once did, it's not great thing to say.
