Ok Since we are comparing Surfing injuries, I will tell mine. I have only been surfing since July but My head has taken its fair share of bumps.
Big close out waves at the half moon bay jetty got the better of me back in August. I went to turtle a wave that was just about to break on top of me but just as I ducked under my board it crashed down smashing my board on to my head and causing a good size gash to the front of my head. Thanks to the two fellow surfers that helped me to the beach and brought my board back to my truck.
