My vx6800 is slowly dying. The directional pad no longer works properly, and other mechanical bits are starting to wear down. Verizon has a few new cool phones, but I haven't decided which one I like. I'm getting sick of Windows Mobile. Microsoft should be ashamed of themselves for having sat on their lead in the smart phone market for so long without producing anything innovative in the space. Everyone else is eating their lunch.
Meanwhile, Nokia has a very cool new phone, the N97: http://news.cnet.com/8301-17938_105-10110873-1.html But it is GSM only, it looks like. I'd love to see how the Samsung Omnia performs, but it still has that crap WM OS. I'd like to see if Verizon gets an Android phone sometime, but Android looks like it is a year away from being trustworthy.
